Just at the wrap of this week’s Big Brother Naija 2018 live shows, the reality show’s host Ebuka announced that there will fake evictions next week.
According to him, this is part of Big Brother’s plan to make the show fun, and also keep the Big Brother Naija housemates on their toes.
Recall that in Big Brother Naija 2017, Jon Ogah and Ese Eriata, the fake housemates of Big Brother Naija reality show, were sent home from the show after being in the house for only two weeks.
Ogah and Eriata were brought in to provide entertainment and serve as pawns of Big Brother in the house.
They were not eligible for the ultimate prize of N25 million. According to host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, their job in the house was successfully done, hence their ouster. All week long, the housemates were kept in painful suspense after nominations for eviction were on Monday nullified.
Consequently, there was no voting during the week. The nominations were cancelled after several housemates were found to be conspiring with each other. Ogah and Eriata, the fake housemates, were the first pair to be caught conspiring.
Kemen later got into trouble for conspiring with Marvis. Gifty Powers was the only contestant sent home during the eviction show after being nominated alongside Marvis and ThinTallTony.
Jon Ogah, was an ex-reality show winner walked away from the first season of Glo Naija Sings $100,000 richer in 2009 over close contenders, Tarila and Thompson. After the drop of his debut video featuring Sasha – Gbedu, it seemed like he dropped off the radar.
Ese on the other hand was a beauty queen, model, Make-up artiste and comedian from Edo State. The 24-year-old promised to cause drama in the house, as she disclosed that Big Brother Naija ex-housmate Uriel was her target, because Uriel feels safe and comfortable.
