Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has argued that he is better than Lionel Messi. Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Messi have been rivals for almost a decade, with both wining the Ballon d’Or five times each.

The Juventus forward, who has played in the English Premier League, La Liga and now, Serie A, had previously challenged the Argentine to join him in Italy, so as to prove how good he is in another league.

Speaking in an interview with DAZN, the former Real Madrid player, said he is more of a champion than his 32-year-old foe.
“The difference between me and him is that I went to different clubs and won the Champions League. I have been Champions League top scorer six times in a row,” Ronaldo stated.

“There are many players who have won the Cup five times. I identify myself with this competition. Messi is an excellent player, he will not only be remembered for the Ballon d’Or but also for being always at the top, year after year, like me.”
