Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State on Saturday assured the electorate that they will not regret returning the All Progressives Congress, APC, back to power in the forthcoming elections.
Masari gave this assurance while addressing a mammoth gathering of the party’s supporters in Matazu and Musawa at the start of the statewide campaigns in preparation for this year elections.
According to him, the APC government at state and federal levels have impacted positively on the lives of people in all spheres.
“In Katsina State most promises made in 2015 have been redeemed,” he said.
He however maintained that, all requests made would be compiled for necessary attention after the party’s victory.
Masari said if elected, his administration would consolidate on past achievements recorded, especially in key sectors of the economy.
He added that small-scale businesses would be encouraged if elected, to allow for people to have means of the income.
He said this was important in order to guarantee better living conditions for the people, and to check unforeseen circumstances in the future.
He called on the electorate to give the APC the support it needs during the polls in order to move the state forward.
