Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 on Sunday to win their 14th FA Cup title.

Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang secured the win for the Mikel Arteta-led side.

Chelsea had taken the lead in the fifth minute through Christian Pulisic before Aubameyang levelled in the 26th minute after a foul by Cesar Azpilicueta.

Chelsea were hampered by a first-half injury to Azpilicueta and were struggling even further when they lost the outstanding Pulisic to a hamstring problem after the break.

Aubameyang then turned Chelsea defender, Kurt Zouma inside out in the 67th minute before chipping over keeper Willy Caballero from an angle.

Chelsea’s agony increased further when Matteo Kovacic was sent off for a second yellow card awarded by referee Anthony Taylor for a challenge on Granit Xhaka.

Arsenal closed out the win to secure a place in the Europa League next season.
